The goal of the Health Technology major is an interdisciplinary collaboration between information technology and health sciences. This track consists of studies from the fields of software engineering, information systems and nursing science, giving an excellent stepping stone for students to plan, develop and implement health technology solutions and products for clinical practice and personalised health care. Adapting theoretical knowledge to implement and tune a working solution to a real-life interdisciplinary challenge in an international setting is also an essential part of the studies in this track.

Career or after graduation opportunities

In the Health Technology track of Digital Health and Life Sciences, students will become proficient in an international and multidisciplinary environment, learn to work in a research group, obtain good skills to implement health technology solutions and applications, and learn to understand ICT assisted health processes.
